We want you to be happy with SQLBackup. If you buy a licence and change your mind, you can request a full refund within 14 days of purchase. Last updated 8 July 2026.
If you purchase a SQLBackup licence and it does not meet your needs, you may request a full refund within 14 days of payment — no questions asked. This 14-day window applies to new licence purchases regardless of where you live, and is in addition to the free trial described below.
You can evaluate every feature of SQLBackup free for 15 days with no credit card and no charge. We recommend backing up your real databases and running a test restore during the trial so you can be sure the software works for you before you pay. The free trial does not replace your 14-day refund right — together they give you up to 29 days, risk-free: 15 days free to try, then 14 days to change your mind after purchase.
To request a refund within the 14-day window, get in touch via the contact page with the email address used at purchase and the approximate purchase date. Approved refunds are returned in full to your original payment method; how long it takes to appear on your statement depends on your bank or card issuer.
A SQLBackup licence covers one year of use ($5/month, billed annually as a single $60 payment). There is no automatic renewal and no recurring subscription — nothing is ever charged to you automatically. Because there is nothing to cancel, if you decide not to continue you simply don't renew, and your licence ends when your paid year is over. You keep every backup you have already made.
If you do not receive your licence or download, or if the software is faulty and we are unable to resolve the issue, you are entitled to a replacement or a full refund of the amount paid, in line with your statutory rights.
Refund requests made after the 14-day window are considered on a case-by-case basis at our discretion. We would still rather hear from you than leave you unhappy — please get in touch.
Nothing in this policy limits any non-waivable rights you may have under the consumer-protection laws of your country or region, including any statutory right of withdrawal that applies to digital products.
